En 2019, je fais ce que je veux - saison 4

Il me reste 12 jours d'automne pour écrire la saison 4 de mon roman feuilleton de 2019. Au sommaire du jour : les nouveaux outillages et le premier cadre intégrant les éléments Paragon : pattes de roue et boîtier T47.

Vous avez vu en saison 3 les nouveaux éléments Paragon : pattes de roue et boitier de pédalier T47. Ces nouveaux composants ont nécessité de fabriquer de nouveaux outillages. J'en ai profité pour reprendre certains outillages anciens qui présentaient des défauts géométriques. Au final, rien de très spectaculaire mais de petites avancées qui changent pas mal de choses au quotidien. Moins de bricolage, moins de prise de tête, plus de précision et de confort de travail...

Le nouveau gabarit de bases, compatible avec les pattes Paragon et toutes autres pattes en axe de 12mm, mais également avec mes anciennes pattes en axe de 10mm. Egalement compatible avec les boitiers de pédalier classiques, PF41, excentrique et T47. Il intègre déjà le grugeage en position du boitier de pédalier (pas sur la photo) et intégrera prochainement le grugeage en position des pattes de roue.

Des coupelles compatibles T47 et surtout, un support d'axe de roue arrière entièrement retouché pour être rendu compatible axe de 12mm et avec une verticalité bien meilleure qu'auparavant.

Un support pour le double tube suffisamment rigide pour supporter les efforts du grugeage en position.

Un gabarit de positionnement de patte de disque arrière compatible axe de 12mm. Largement inspiré du anvil Phrung Shui, il laisse un bon accès à la torche pour le soudage. On ne copie que les bonnes idées !

Et voilà soudé à la fois le premier successeur de la Bombera (en arrière plan), en un peu moins turbulent et le premier cadre intégrant les composants Paragon. Dan vient en prendre possession demain. Un petit retour très vite...

Vous ne verrez pas dans ce message les nouveaux accessoires pour réaliser l'assemblage des fourches (qui sont opérationnels) ni l'outillage de cintrage des bras de fourche Salamandre (un des grands objectifs du programme "en 2019 je fais ce que je veux") encore en cours de mise au point avec la collaboration active de Lohan, un jeune stagiaire de terminale EDPI qui a pris un abonnement chez Salamandre. comme il revient en janvier, je vais l'attendre pour finir !

Et le dernier grand enjeu du programme est de faire fonctionner mon nouveau tour. Je ne sais pas pourquoi je bloque là dessus. Il me reste 20 jours...

Here is the season 4 of my 2019 novel : « in 2019 I do what I want ». Today, the new tools and the first frame integrating the Paragon elements: dropouts and T47 bottom bracket shell.

In the season 3, you’ve seen the new Paragon elements: front and rear dropouts and T47 bottom bracket shells. These new components required that I build new tools to integrate them. I took this opportunity to modify some old tools that had geometric imperfections. Nothing really spectacular but some small advances that change a lot of things every day. Less DIY, less headache, more precision and working comfort…

The new chainstays fixture, compatible with the Paragon dropouts and all other 12mm axle dropouts, but also with my old 10mm axle dropouts. Also compatible with classic bottom bracket, PF41, eccentric and T47. It already integrates the notching of the bottom bracket (not on the picture) and will soon integrate a dropouts notching device.

T47 compatible cups and, most importantly, a fully rebuilt rear wheel axle support. It’s now compatible with 12mm axle and is much more vertical than before.

A front support for the double top tube. It’s stiff enough to support the efforts of « in position notching ».

A 12mm axle compatible rear disc plate positioning template. Inspired by the anvil Phrung Shui, it gives a good access for the welding torch. Only the good ideas are copied !

And finally : here is both the first successor of La Bombera (in the background), a little bit less quieter than her mother, and the first frame integrating the Paragon components. Dan is coming to get her tomorrow. Soon a review...

You won’t see in this message the new tools for assembling the forks (they are operational) nor the bending tools for the Salamandre fork arms (one of the main goals of the program "in 2019 I do what I want") still under development with the active collaboration of Lohan, a young student who had already come twice for practical training. As he’ll come back for the third time in January, I will wait for him to finish !

And the last big issue of the program is to make my new turning machine work. I don’t know why I stuck with this. 20 days left...
